Cooking, entertaining and experimenting with recipes has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Today, I am celebrating this as my 100th post. Exploring old, traditional, family recipes is what I love — as much as I do investigating new ideas. Oh, yes, I have learned from quite a few mistakes over the years. Some of my mistakes, although they didn’t turn out the way I was expecting, presented themselves in a whole new way, and I liked it better than what I was anticipating.
Always use great quality fresh ingredients and you will always have great fresh food, by just following a few simple tips and techniques. You don’t have to spend all day in the kitchen to make a great meal, but your guests will definitely enjoy it when you DO spend all day in the kitchen and take the time to prepare your meal with LOVE.
Sometimes, I want to make a certain recipe, and set off to buy a list of ingredients. Finding inspiration at the market is what I enjoy more, and will go with no list, creating a menu following the inspiration of ingredients I find looking most fresh or what is on sale.
