Charcuterie

Find inspiration from beautiful ingredients at the market and some things you have on hand in your refrigerator or pantry.

Pictured below, was something we put together as a group effort. I found picture-perfect globe artichokes at the market, and came home to prepare them (a labor of love!). We added salamis, cheeses, olives, hummus and focaccia bread — along with the rose champagne. I also love to add nuts, especially Marcona almonds.

This board (below) was put together by our friends Susan and Hector, and was on the counter when we arrived for a dinner party. She used beautiful heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, sliced avocado, buffalo mozzarella, goat cheese from Trader Joes, hummus, Manchego, basil and fresh vegetables, nuts, slices of lemon, thin tubes of honey and balsamic glaze on the side.

I loved the giant board, and also the heavy paper underneath, which reminded me of Tuscan lemons. Use your imagination!

Thank you Hector and Susan!
